Auto direction: scales the narrower dimension (usually the thickness direction).
Auto anchor: anchors to the edge closest to the SVG canvas boundary.

1. Open your laser-cut SVG file
2. Set original & new wood thickness
3. Select tab/slot/groove elements:
  • Click elements manually
  • "By Color" — click a color swatch
  • "By Size" — auto-finds joinery
4. Scale the selected elements
5. Download the modified SVG
Keyboard: Ctrl+Z undo  ·  Esc clear
Ctrl+A select all  ·  scroll to zoom
Alt+drag or middle-drag to pan
Tip: Use "By Color" if joinery elements are drawn in a distinct color (common in Inkscape laser designs).

Anchor: "Auto" guesses which edge stays fixed based on position. Use "Min/Max" to force-anchor to the left/top or right/bottom edge.
