For panel-outline paths (like finger-joint box pieces), only the tab-depth coordinates are rewritten — the overall panel shape stays the same. Direction & anchor only apply as fallback for simple elements.

1. Open your laser-cut SVG file
2. Set original & new wood thickness + units
3. Select All (Ctrl+A) for whole-file scaling, or click individual elements
4. Scale — Smart Mode finds tab-depth coordinates inside each path and rewrites only those, leaving the overall panel size intact
5. Download the result
Smart Mode works on any path whose coordinates contain values at exactly ±thickness from each edge (finger joints, T-slots, box joints, etc.).

Fallback mode applies a scale transform when no tab coordinates are detected — useful for standalone tab rectangles.
